Chris St. Pierre c4a9b1020f Generate group_vars samples automagically 
This adds a script, generate_group_vars_sample.sh, that generates
group_vars/*.sample from roles/ceph-*/defaults/main.yml to avoid
discrepancies between the sets of files. It also converts the line
endings in the various main.yml from DOS to Unix, since generating the
samples was spreading the line ending plague around to more files.

Ansible role: Ceph Monitor

This role mainly bootstraps Ceph monitor(s) but also has several capabilities:

  • Deploys Ceph monitor(s)
  • Manages Ceph keys
  • Can create OpenStack pools, users and keys
  • Secures a cluster (protect pools)
  • Bootstraps dockerized Ceph monitors

Requirements

Nothing, it runs out of the box.

Role variables

Have a look at: defaults/main.yml.

Mandatory variables

None.

Dependencies

The role leseb.ceph-common must be installed.

Example Playbook

- hosts: servers
  remote_user: ubuntu
  roles:
     - { role: leseb.ceph-mon }
