Kubernetes应用管理--Helm | post |
Helm是一个类似于yum/apt/homebrew的Kubernetes应用管理工具。Helm使用Chart来管理Kubernetes manifest文件。
Helm基本使用
安装helm
客户端
brew install kubernetes-helm
初始化Helm并安装Tiller
服务(需要事先配置好kubeclt)
helm init
更新charts列表
helm repo update
部署服务,比如mysql
➜ ~ helm install stable/mysql

NOTES:
MySQL can be accessed via port 3306 on the following DNS name from within your cluster:
quieting-warthog-mysql.default.svc.cluster.local
To get your root password run:
kubectl get secret --namespace default quieting-warthog-mysql -o jsonpath="{.data.mysql-root-password}" | base64 --decode; echo
To connect to your database:
1. Run an Ubuntu pod that you can use as a client:
kubectl run -i --tty ubuntu --image=ubuntu:16.04 --restart=Never -- bash -il
2. Install the mysql client:
$ apt-get update && apt-get install mysql-client -y
3. Connect using the mysql cli, then provide your password:
$ mysql -h quieting-warthog-mysql -p
